I stayed at the Intercontinental Buckhead with my nephew who was home for a few days from the military mission to Afganastan. We went there to experience the party area of Buckhead and this hotel is located right within walking distance of everything we needed. The check-in was seemless and the staff were all very polite. The beds in the... more

We had 2 rooms here for 3 days Thanksgiving week. The price of $169 included the breakfast buffet (but not parking) and seemed very good. Beautiful hotel, rooms, gym, etc. but our coffee maker did not come with coffee, only decaf, all three nights. The front desk told us they had run out but managed to come up with one... more

I was a guest at the Intercontinental Buckhead on November 18-21, 2008 while attending a conference held at the hotel. As many have suggested, i took the MARTA train from the airport to the Buckhead station about 1.5 blocks from the hotel. The trains ran promptly and the stations were clean and orderly. Definitely the way to get from the... more

We were in town November 9th for the Tina Turner concert and many of the higher end hotels were soooo expensive, including the InterContinental, which was selling on every website for $369. After reading the reviews here on TripAdvisor, I was thrilled to win this hotel on Priceline for $79! When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk staff... more

The Intercontinental Buckhead is a beautiful, elegant property that is centrally located to fine dining and special events (concerts, etc). The lobby is beautiful, as is the lobby bar (which, by the way, is very happening on weekend nights). Staff was very gracious and friendly. My only complaint is that, despite our request for removal, they left our room service... more

After reading reviews, was skeptical but proved a terrific stay. Only had 1 night after wk in GA mountains heading back to Tpa. Conference hotel not busy, with competition & economy they went beyond to accomodate. Services there is you want but so was complete privacy. Room: Club room +50 worth it. Have disability, room accessible, but smart stying for... more

I stayed here for 6 nights in October 2008 - I was here for a conference but I ended up staying on for a couple of extra nights. This hotel is truly superb even though it cost an arm and a leg to stay here (having seen some of the prices that other reviewers paid I think I was ripped... more

My husband and I stayed at The Intercontinental for a night while going to see a concert at Chastain Park. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and check in and out was fast and painless. We had a corner room on the 16th floor (I believe) and one window looked out over the Atlanta skyline while the other looked out... more

We have just returned from a two night stay at the Intercontinental Buckhead in Atlanta. We stayed here because of the good reviews. It is by far the best hotel I've stayed at. Right in heart of Buckhead, there is plenty to do. We had a standard king, on the 11th floor. The city view was stunning. You could even... more

I stayed at the Intercontinental for business a couple weeks ago. I stayed in a lovely king suite with a great sunken bath and separate shower. Room was very tastefully decorated. An unusual touch was that every room had its own doorbell. One thing I personally could have done without was the elaborate turn-down service. Beyond pulling my bedding back,... more
