Caribbean island ambience, colonial Mexican style. Casa Sirena is an intimate retreat. Amenities include traditional Mexican breakfast entrees and complimentary happy hour. Located in the heart of a quaint island village, guests are a short walk from wonderful restaurants, colorful shops, and the finest white sand beaches in the Caribbean. We traveled to Mexico for the first time in December and we got everything right the first time. All the great reviews of Casa Sirena are true--it's a beautiful, comfortable place to stay where you can meet wonderful people. We echo all the good things people have said about it! Here's an attempt to say something new: we enjoyed the... more

My husband and I stayed at Casa Sirena for 8 nights in November. We had such a great time. We made friends with the other guests which only enhanced our time while staying there. Isla Mujeres is a wonderful little escape that has many excellent things to offer (food, shopping, sites, outdoor activities). Casa Sirena is the best hotel we... more

When originally seeking a place to stay on Isla, we were highly skeptical of all the glowing reviews on this site. It almost sounded too good to be true. After staying there to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary we can honestly say everything was as wonderful as the commentaries had indicated. There isn't much more that we can add. Just... more

Isla Mujeres and Casa Sirena was our final stop on an 8 day vacation to the Yucatan. We spent 5 days in Playa Del Carmen and 3 days in Isla Mujeres. I had been to Cancun before, but never to Isla Mujeres. I must say that after touring around the small island I believe we made the right choice staying... more

We arrived on Isla in the rain which was a shame as I had been there 9 years previously and had raved about the idylic paradise to my husband. However, after the very short walk to Casa Sirena, we were met by a friendly Steve and a welcome cerveza. Steve (after apologizing for the weather - he really does care... more

I was staying in another hotel on the island and went to visit my son at Casa Sirena. The first thing that impressed me was how "classy" and well maintained it looked, the second was how very clean it was. I also watched the staff who, I could tell, loved working at the hotel. Everyday they have a gourmet's delight... more

The view of the Ocean from #3 was awesome! The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had looked forward to this vacation for a year and we were not disappointed. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the local activities going on. The coffee was always hot and ready by 7 a.m. and the breakfast prepared every morning was... more

Steve was actually on vacation at the time we visited. But communications was fantastic before our arrival. This was a surprise anniversary for my wife, I just emailed her the weather report and said pack for this weather, 2 shoe limit to include sandles. She was told Thursday night to pack for a 3 night get away. We were greeted... more

We had a brilliant stay at Casa Sirena. Unfornately we got unseasonally wet weather but we easily made the most of it. Our room was great. It was a good size and was always kept very clean and even the towels were used for origami and made into animals each day. The breakfast was also a highlight with a mixture... more
