Christmas at this resort was AMAZING...Santa showed up on the beach on a 4wheeler with gifts for the kids. Resort was clean...Pools are nice...Beach was nice...Staff was nice.. This place could use a bulldozer to get rid of the rooms. They are super outdated, dirty to say the least. Was not sure I should lay on the bed, sheets and bedspread were 100 years old and the bathroom was downright nasty. I was pleasantly surprised with the grounds, food and staff at this hotel. It was very relaxing and beautiful. I would suggest taking the excursion to Paridise Island, as the beach at the hotel is not white sand or clear blue water. I felt very safe around the local Dominicans and will return again to this particular resort. more
