We just got back from a 12 day trip to Disney World. We went with 6 adults and 2 children and disney had something for everyone. We had 12 people in our party. 10 staying at the Polyenisian, and hubby and I at Animal Kingdom Lodge. I'm writing this review based on my personal experiences over the past week. When you travel between Xmas and New Year's it's going to be busy. So you have to get over that first. There will be line ups everywhere... more

Husband & I (in our 50's) just came back on New Year's Day from a 6-day visit. It was also our first visit. Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! Go to the parks before they open. They let you in at 15 minutes prior to official park opening (or even 1 hr and 15 minutes earlier than official park opening... more

In all honesty.....I don't understand why so many people spend their hard earned money and vacation time to take the family to Disney World???? My family of 4 had the pleasure of staying in a one bedroom suite with concierge. The hotel is beautiful, staff was pleasant and very helpful. Boma is one of the restaurants onsite. Food was delicious although a bit pricey. Splurge for concierge level and enjoy food all day long with a dessert buffet late into the evening. Recommend staying... more

We used Undercover Tourist (UT)- didn't know that if you don't get tix from Disney at same time as resort you can't get meal plan. Just back from xmas trip to WDW with hubby, kids 10 and 15. MK was our favorite park of all 4. Yes, it was crowded, but everything moves along just fine! My wife and I (49 and 54) our daughter and son-in-law (both 28) and our 4 year old granddaughter stayed December 15-19 at Disney's Pop Century Resort. We enjoyed the resort and the convenience of transportation to the various "Worlds" and we would probably stay there again...if we go to Disney again. From age 2, I still adore Walt Disney World for many reasons. I live an hour's drive from the Vacation Kingdom and it's well worth visiting. My favorite theme park is Epcot, hands down.
