The all day trip from Puerto Natales is well worth the day and it is not expensive. They stop before the park so you can buy a bag lunch, but I would strongly recommend getting things the day before in Puerto Natales and making lunch before you start the tour. And be prepared for strong winds as others have mentioned. more

The scenery is stupendous - jagged mountains, turquoise lakes and huge glaciers. Very unspoilt and an ideal place for hiking. Highly recommended, in spite of the very strong winds!
