My wife and I stayed at Loconda Correr. In literally 4 minutes, you can walk to St Mark's basilica. The tour you can just walk through youself and the little artifact museum they have on the side is worth it. I think they charge like 3 euros each premium to see the museum. Do it.. This place is stunning, you see the outside and think nothing could be more beautiful until you see the inside and it's even more impressive. I only wish they let you take pictures (no flash of course) inside. more
